나는 무엇을 세상에 남기고, 사람들에게 기억될 수 있을까?
the inspiration은 나의 작업에 영감을 주는 이미지들을 모아놓은 카테고리다. 의식적으로 인용한 것은 하나도 없다. 사실 역으로, 검은숲이야기를 만들고나서, 그와 연결된 이미지들을 찾아 모은 것인데, 궁극적으로는 이런 이미지들이 나의 기억 속에 스며들어, 나도 모르게 재융합되면서, 지금의 나의 작품들을 낳게 했을 것.
역사 위의 그 무엇도 순수히 "독창적"인 것은 없으나, 그 와중에서도 오리지널리티를 찾아나가는 것이 아티스트의 숙명.
하루하루 좁아져만가는 틈을 비집고 그넘의 오리지널리티를 찾으려
발버둥치는게 나의 숙명.
