One hundred faces of the heart falling in love / wounded
Have you falling in love with someone? or have you experienced a heartbreak? I think everyone has.
As you know, love is most important theme of art, because everyone experiences it and its experience gives you huge emotional stimulus.
In this exhibition, i put 100 various faical expressions on the heart symbol.
100 hearts reperesent the feelings and behaviors in love and broken heart.
They will reward your memories of love and give you a chance to think about your current feelings about love.

「恋に落ちてる／傷ついた100個の顔」というタイトルの作品で東京ビックサイトであった「ゲイサイ2008」に参加した。

恋に落ちた経験はある？失恋は？あなたのアンサーは「YES」でしょう。あなたが知っているとおり恋は色んな作品の主題となる。その理由は皆が恋をして、その経験は大きな感情の変化をくれるからだ。今回の展示会で僕は100個の様々な表情の顔をハートシンボルの上に描いた。100個のハートは恋愛中と失恋中の感情と行動を現す。それはあなたの記憶にある恋を思い出したり今の自分の恋について考える機会をくれると思う。

토쿄빅사이트에서 사랑를 테마로 2번째 개인전을 열었습니다.

사랑할때와 상처받았을때의 감정과 증상들을 하트라는 심벌위에 표현했죠.

hmmm i just realized that i have only one pose in front of my works. T..T;; 그림앞에서의 내 포즈가 다 똑같다는 것을 깨달았다. ㅋㅋ

New home- Minimalism, White-n-Red

이사를 마쳤다. 시로카네는 맘에 든다. 조용한 주택가. 이번 컨셉은 미니멀리즘. 흰색에 빨강 포인트.
I finished moving into a new house. I like this place, Shirokane. My concept for this time is minimalism. I decorated my white room with red accents.

引越しが完了した。白金は気に入った。静かな住宅街。今回のコンセプトはミニマリズム。白い色の上にレッドでポイント！

이젠 지구를 위해서라도.. 좀 살림 늘이지 말고 미니멀하게 살아야지. 라고 결심해본다. 몸도...마음도.. 마지막으로 그럴싸한 스탠딩라이트는 하나 들여놓고싶군..
I wanna live my life in a simple way from now on, even my body and mind. It would also be good for the earth. But I'd like to buy a simple standing light as the last of my move-in shopping.

これからは地球のためにも...荷物を増やさずにミニマルに住んでみようと思っている。体も頭も。最後にスタンディングライトをひとつ買いたい。

고가의 가죽슬리퍼. 신발보다 비싸다. 늘 슬리퍼는 싸이즈가 작아서 아쉬웠는데..< 커서 좋다. 가죽이 맨발에 닿는 느낌이 좋다. 뒷굼치가 높은 게 좀 별로네. 내가 너무 까다롭다는 걸 요즘 깨닫는다.
이전에 나의 붓다는 "요리의 신"이었는데, 이집에서는 "쾌변의 신"이 되어주셨다.
An expensive pair of leather slippers. It's more expensive than my ordinary outdoor shoes. I am always dissatisfied with slippers, because they are too small for me, but I like this size. and I also like how this slipper's leather feels on my feet. Only problem is that the hells are a bit high. I am reallizing how fussy I am! -..-;;
This buddha used to be a god of cooking at my old kitchen, but now he is the god of "regular bowel movements".
高価のレザースリッパ、靴より高い。普段スリッパはサイズが小さくて残念だが、これは大きくて良い。レザーに足が会ってる感触が良い。ヒールが高いのがちょっと気になる。最近俺が本当にうるさいことを感じてきた。
この仏像、前はキチンで「料理の神様」だったが、ここでは「快便の神様」になってくれた！

Daikanyama Pancake cafe, Clover's

I dislike their rustic billboard, but their food and interior are quite nice.

I ordered pancake and omelette set for my lunch.

There is no doubt that the highlight of eating pancakes is the maple syrup.

Sunday I went to have a brunch to Daikanyama with Hisa. My choice was an almond spicy dry curry with a drink and salad.

A table near the window is always a good choice.

Short comments in Seoul Trip

start to feel that I’m on a trip by riding in a taxi with a big trunk.◇ When I sat on my seat after boarding process, always I am drunk with testing the perfume.◇ The stewardess fashion of Korean airline is cuter than any other airlines.◇ I don’t eat chicken, you know, so I am often disappointed with airline menus. I always make sure to reserve the airline menu, but I have no time to worry about it whenever I go on a trip. In that case, I order beers and honey peanuts. I know it’s not cool to watch silly old American sitcoms with a red face, but it makes a boring flight more enjoyable.◇ the hotel breakfast is notable part of the trip. High calorie and fatty food, such as bacons and scrambled eggs are not my regular morning menu, but I enjoy this meal when I am on a trip, because I have a good excuse of hard work when I am travelling.

I'm grateful to my family, friends, first contacts and new chances.

여행의 정취는 큰 트렁크를 끌고 택시를 타면서부터 시작된다 ◇ 탑승수속을 마치고, 비행기좌석에 앉을때면 언제나 면세점의 향수 테이스팅에 흠뻑 취해있다 ◇ 대한항공의 스튜어디스 패션은 어느 항공사보다 이쁘다 ◇ 치킨을 안먹는 나는 기내식 메뉴에 실망하는 경우가 많다. 미리 전화예약을 해놓자고 다짐을 하지만, 막상 여행을 하다보면 미리 챙길 여유는 언제나 없다. 그럴땐 맥주에 꿀땅콩으로! 븕게 달아오른 얼굴로 이미 몇년전에 봤던 미국시트콤을 보며 혼자 웃는 모습이 그다지 멋지지 않으리란 걸 알지만, 덕분에 비행시간이 지루하지 않다 ◇ 호텔에서의 조식부페 메뉴는 여행의 로망. 고열량/고지방의 베이컨, 케챱듬뿍 에그스크램블, 크로와상, 버터, 오렌지쥬스와 커피. -평상시엔 전혀 아침메뉴로 선택하지 않지만, 운동량이 많은 여행중이라는 핑계로 즐겨먹게 된다.

친구들과 가족. 새로운 만남과 새로운 기회들에 감사!

Baking hearts, 4th day

This will be a new memory for me walking all night while listening to Japanese radio. I finished 54 pieces. I'll finish the last prints and frame works in 5days. I'm keeping to my schedule, but I'm working too hard. Toxic chemicals from the ink hurt my throat even though I keep the room vetilated.
일본라디오를 들으며 하는 철야작업은 또 새로운 추억이 될 듯하다. 약 54개정도 완성~ 남은 5일간 남은 프린트작업과 액자작업을 마칠 예정.
계획한 스케쥴은 지키고 있지만, 욕심을 내다보니 강행군을 하게 된다. 철절히 환기시키면서 하고 있지만, 자극적인 유독성 휘발물질들에 들러쌓여 있다보니 하루는 목이 아프고, 하루는 코가 맹맹하네.

Baking hearts, 2th day

on the 2nd day of baking hearts, I made the prints better. But I failed again, when I was hurrying to complete the 2nd set. I need to remove the ink, remove the sensitilizer, dry the sensitizer, and dry the water after sensitizing. This work requires patience. I have to wait a long time during every process. I plan to increase the silk-screen panels next time.

하트굽기 이틀째, 비교적 결과물은 개선되었는데, 반나절에 2세트를 돌아보겠다고 서두르다보니 두번째 작업은 실패해버렸다. -.-
실 크판은 잉크제거 후, 감광액 세척 후, 감광액 건조 후, 감광세척 후의 건조 등 총 4번의 건조과정을 거쳐야 하는데, 성미가 급하고, 일정이 빠듯하다보니 그 간격에 충분히 여유를 주기가 어렵다. 아~ 모든 일에 필요한 건 인내심이 필요한 법.

판의 갯수를 늘리고, 맘이 급하지만 보다 여유를 가지고 작업을 하도록 하자.

Baking hearts

빵을 굽듯이 하트를 찍어내고 있다. 아~ 그러나 실패, 또 실패! 이제 실패할 시간이 없는뎅.
글자를 가늘게 넣으면 실크가 잉크에 막혀버리는군. 한번에 찍는 갯수를 늘릴 수록 핀트가 어긋나버리고.. T..T;;

스튜디오에서 함께 작업하던 시각디자인과1년생들과 얘기를 나누었다. 광고디자인에 관심이 있다며 한국의 광고에 대해서나 이것저것을 초롱초롱한 눈으로 물어보는데, 어찌나 귀엽던지.
나도 모르게 "대딩1년? 아~ 그립네. 좋을때다." 라는 말을 내뱉고 있었으니, ㅋㅋ 나도 많이 늙었구나.

남은 11일간 효율적인 작업방식으로 전체 작품을 완성을 해야할텐데~ 흠, 5시간만 자면서 해도 데드라인까지 아슬아슬하다.

I published the pamphlet for my exhibition. It's fancy, isn't it?
u can't see it in this pic, but the cover paper has pearl gloss on it. i love it.

The book shows u my exhibition concept perfectly. U can read the book either front to back, or back to front. From one cover, u can view the feelings and behaviors when people fall in love. And beginning from the other side, I expressed behaviors when people are wounded by love. love is like that. sweet and bitter. you can see the various feelings and behaviors about love in this exhibition.

드디어 9월14일의 전시 카달로그가 나왔습니다. ^-^ 팬시하지 않습니까?.
사진에는 잘 안나왔지만, 커버는 펄지를 써서 반짝반짝~ 맘에 들어요.

이 번 전시의 테마를 그대로 책으로 표현하였습니다. 한쪽면에는 사랑에 빠졌을 때의 감정과 행동들, 또 다른 쪽 면에는 상처받은 사랑의 증상들을 표현했습니다. 사랑이란 그런 것이죠. 달콤하고 또 쌉쌀한 것. 그 다양한 사랑의 감정을 옅볼 수 있는 전시내용을 그대로 담은 카달로그랍니다.

I am going to sell it for 500yen as a special price on the exhibition day of GEISAI.
게이사이 전시 당일에는 500엔에 판매예정.

Webpomona Logos
"webpomona" is a mini game; the goal is to break the big melon and get items, so i used the melon decoration in the logo. the courved green ribbon under the title makes a whimsical mood.
